You'll need:
- Pasta. Although any type will do, spaghetti, spirali or penne are best.
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil.
- 2 tbsp salted butter.
- 2-3 cloves garlic. Coarsely chopped.
- shredded Parmesan cheese.
- a pinch or two of pepper.
First, boil the pasta until its cooked 'al dente'. Drain. Heat a pan and pour in the oil. Put in the butter and saute the garlic until the colour turns light brown. While waiting the garlic to turn colour, enjoy the tasty smell of butter melting. Mmmm.. Turn off the heat. Now you have your pasta sauce.
Put pasta in a bowl, pour the sauce on top. Sprinkle adequate amout of cheese and pepper. Toss. Then eat. Best accompanied with salads, to balance your nutritional needs.
